Thanksgiving used to be stressful enough without a pandemic, but now things are obviously worse. Thanksgiving is the ultimate American holiday where everyone, regardless of background (or ideology) takes a day to rejoice, celebrate, give thanks, and feast.
But…
This is clearly not the year for such things—at least not in the same way. The virus is with us, and it’s spreading in an essentially uncontrolled way. Ongoing research makes it clear that we are relaxing a little too much, and coronavirus is spreading through family gatherings and meals. Kids and young adults are bringing it home, and we’re all sharing.
